My interest in chiropractic began because of my mom. When I was a sophomore in high school, she was rear-ended by a drunk driver, leading to severe low back pain and sciatica. Despite consulting various doctors, her treatment was limited to pain medication, muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatory drugs, and rest. She eventually lost feeling in her right leg and suffered from chronic pain. Unable to exercise due to the intensity of her pain, she started gaining weight, and her health steadily declined.
After four years of relentless suffering, she attended a health fair where a chiropractor spoke about sciatica. She decided to make an appointment, and during her visit, the chiropractor conducted a thorough consultation, examination, and x-rays, followed by a detailed report of findings. After a series of adjustments, she experienced sensation in her leg for the first time! I was 19 years old and intrigued by the difference in her treatment. The chiropractor showed me her x-rays and pointed out where the nerve was being pinched, explaining how the adjustments helped relieve the pressure and allowed her body to heal naturally. That was a pivotal moment for me—I realized that this was my calling. I made it my mission to ensure that other families wouldn't have to endure the needless suffering that mine did.
Today, I have the privilege of treating families of all ages, from infants to seniors.
